Tamil Nadu ITI Result at skilltraining.tn.gov.in
In the Indian state of Tamil Nadu, the Training Wing of the Directorate of Employment & Training (DET), operating under the Department of Employment & Training of the Tamil Nadu Government, is the appointed managing body for skill-based training in the state.
Across the varied Indian states, vocational training is imparted via the Government-run Industrial Training Institutes (ITIs) and privately-funded Industrial Training Centers (ITCs). Where the trade programs in India are concerned, theoretical knowledge constitutes 30%; and practical education, 70%.
However, the National Council of Vocational Training (NCVT) and State Council of Vocational Training (SCVT), working at the national level and state level, respectively, have the responsibility of overseeing the conduct of the trade courses.
The ITIs and ITCs offer the aspirants a wide choice of NCVT and SCVT trades. Following the successful completion of the trade programs, the students are awarded the National Level Trade Certificates (NLTCs) for the NCVT trades; and State Level Trade Certificates (SLTCs) for the SCVT trade programs.
The NCVT/SCVT certifications are required for applying to the opportunities at the national level and state level, respectively.

Those students who have given exams of the 1st, 2nd, 3rd, or 4th semesters of the trade courses at the Tamil Nadu centers can check their results online. They have to browse the Tamil Nadu’s DET official website http://skilltraining.tn.gov.in/DET/index.html. Additionally, the results are exhibited on NCVT’s official site, https://ncvtmis.gov.in/Pages/Home.aspx.
